Quest Trial of Duty

Quest guide

1. Starting NPC Hannavalt Grand Master is located in the Warriors Guild of Giran. Talk to Hannavalt to start the quest.

2. Teleport to Gludin Village, then to the southern entrance to the Wasteland. Don't go inside, head northeast along the coast. Find Sir Aron Tanford and talk to him.

Sir Aron will give you Old Knight Sword NG

3. Head deep into the Wasteland location, find and kill monsters:

Skeleton Raider Lv. 30
Skeleton Marauder Lv. 29

Until the quest monster appears:

Spirit of Sir Herod Quest Monster Lv. 35

Kill the ghost with Old Knight Sword NG

From a killed ghost you will get Knight's Tear NG

4. Return to Sir Aron Tanford and talk to him.

5. Teleport to Dion, find Sir Kiel Nighthawk in the Dark Elf Guild and talk to him.

6. Exit the Dion through the eastern gate. Head along the road east of the Execution Grounds (Club Card holders can teleport to the location). Find and kill monsters:

Strain Lv. 31
Ghoul Lv. 32

Until you collect 10 Report Piece NG

10 report pieces will turn into a Report Piece NG

7. Return to Sir Kiel Nighthawk and talk to him.

Sir Kiel will give you a Mirror of Orpic NG

8. Leave the Dion through the eastern gate. Head along the road to the east to the Execution Grounds. Find and kill monsters:

Hangman Tree Lv. 35

Until Spirit Of Sir Talianus appears

Talk to the Spirit of Sir Talianus, he will give you Tear of Confession NG

9. Return to Sir Kiel Nighthawk and talk to him.

10. Teleport to Hunter's Village, find Isael Silvershadow on the main square and talk to her.

11. Teleport to Oren, then to Plains of the Lizardmen. Find and kill monsters:

Leto Lizardman Lv. 35
Leto Lizardman Archer Lv. 36
Leto Lizardman Soldier Lv. 37
Leto Lizardman Warrior Lv. 38
Leto Lizardman Shaman Lv. 39
Leto Lizardman Overlord Lv. 40

Until you collect 20 Militas Article NG

12. Return to Isael Silvershadow and talk to her.

Isael will give Tear of Loyalty NG

13. Teleport to Giran, find Dustin Priest in the Temple and talk to him.

14. Teleport from Giran to Breka's Stronghold. Find and kill monsters:

Breka Orc Overlord Lv. 35

Until you collect 3 quest items:

Athebaldt's Skull NG
Athebaldt's Ribs NG
Athebaldt's Shin NG

Several monsters are located east of the teleport point, others are on the northwestern hill.

15. Return to Dustin Priest and talk to him.

Dustin will give you Saints Ashes Urn NG

16. Teleport to Takling Island Village, then to the Obelisk of Victory. Find Sir Collin Windawood and talk to him.

Sir Collin will give a Letter of Windawood NG

17. Return to Dustin Priest and talk to him.

Dustin will give a Letter of Dustin NG

18. Head to the Giran Warriors Guild, find Hannavalt Grand Master and talk to him.

Hannavalt will complete the quest and give you Mark of Duty NG
